Still creating new engines based on Kling. It’s like walking in your studio and finding some works you’ve started earlier. You run the engine, click and unclick layers, change the blending style, and then suddenly: Sue are six new prints.

These prints combine the ‘Kling” series with some older prints. I mixed them in Photoshop. So I guess this isn’t pure generative art anymore. The generative aspect is just something I use to work in a certain way. What is important is the result. The result is based on human choice. It is a mix of old fashioned human choice with a random work process. Whatever.

“Curtain” is a video made from a flash animation. HYPE was used and combined with my own personal voodoo coding. Just wondering if I should add sound or music to these kind of video sketches.

Finally using a computer as a tool to produce old school printed artwork. For your interest, here is what I did. First there is an animation in Flash. It produces endless variations which can be saved as transparent images. Targa files thanks to HYPE. These are imported into Photoshop. After some minimal play with the layers settings, the result is what you see here.

It has been a while. Again in HYPE and forgot how to do things again. Played with parameters, two colors and tried to understand what happens.
