Each artist is represented and displayed on screen as a human figure. When two artists collide one of the two ‘wins’, gets the energy of the other and grows bigger and stronger. Finally only the biggest will survive on screen, getting stronger and stronger while new artists don’t make a change. I had to build in a small timer to kill the giant artist and prevent the screen to be completely  and continuously filled with a flickering body.

A second part of the animation takes the same names, splits the first from the last name and randomly displays new combinations, thus creating a list of non-existing artists.

This animation was adapted (update xml) to include new names in 2O1O.
